Description
Summary:This study was conducted to compare the effects of powdered Sargassum crassifolium and its combinations with commercial inorganic fertilizer on the growth and yield of Vigna sesquipedalis. Results revealed that Vigna sesquipedalis treated with 20 to 25 grams of S. crassifolium responds best in terms of vegetative growth. Plants treated with 5 to 10 grams of S. crassifolium responds best in terms of fruit yield. Moreover, plants treated with a combination of 10 to 12.5 grams of commercial fertilizer with 5 to 2.5 grams of S. crassifolium, respectively, tend to suppress the optimum growth of the plant.
