Uykim, Ma. Carla T. The primary purpose of this study is to identify the level of sexual satisfaction and dissatisfaction of married Filipinos according to physical needs, emotional needs and sexual knowledge and to find out if there are similarities and differences in the responses of males and females according to physical needs, emotional needs and sexual knowledge. This study used a descriptive research design in gathering all the needed data. The sample was comprises of 50 males and 50 females who are married for not less than 10 years and not more than 20 years and who are Metro Manila residents. The data were obtained through a survey. The data were analyzed quantitatively by using frequently tabulation. The mean of each subtest category was computed using the formula X = EX / N. The findings indicated that males and females in general are moderately satisfied in all aspects of their marital sexual relationship. Generally speaking, there is no difference in the responses of males and females. Given the results of the study, the researchers recommend that other variables aside from the internal variables be taken into consideration such as age, number of children, occupation, religion, educational attainment, and socio-economic status. The researchers also suggest the use of other methods like case study and correlation study in doing the same study to find out and compare similarities and differences. 1996-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/8277 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Marital satisfaction Married people Sex (Psychology)
