Summary:This study made used of a descriptive research design that investigated the metrosexuality of Filipino men. The study aimed to have an additional understanding of the influence of family and peers. The sample consisted of twenty (20) self-identified Filipino metrosexual men. Snowball sampling or popularly known as chain referral was the mode of collecting data from respondents. Semi-structured interview was used as the data gathering procedure. Results showed detailed factors under family influences, which are the absence of father, modeling, metrosexuality trait, matriarch, female activities and individuality. Furthermore, peer influences, which are metrosexual traits, female activities and peer pressure. Additional influence was identified particularly media.
