The relationship between organizational justice, occupational stress and psychological contract on different levels amongst Filipino seafarers

The study sought to find out the relationship between occupational stress, organizational justice, and psychological contract among the different levels of employment of Filipino seafarers. Two hundred and seventy nine (279) Filipino seafarers from varying ranks were surveyed using survey questionnaires and fifty (50) of them were also interviewed. Multiple regression was used to determine the relationship between variables. There was a significant relationship between occupational stress and the levels of employment among Filipino seafarers. In the interaction between occupational stress, organizational justice and levels of employment on psychological contract, organizational justice was found to be the predictor of psychological contract.
