Description
Summary:CNC machines are large, expensive, limited to operating on one face unless it has four or more axes ultimately in accessible to a lot of people. This research paper details the various considerations, studies and steps the researchers took to provide a sculpting device that is light-weight, inexpensive and can make fully 3-dimensional sculptures. The research also explores beyond the norms of using cutting bits to make impressions on wood, by designing the device to operate completely by drilling. The hardware and software design process, the algorithms that are used in the operation, as well as the successful result of the study is discussed in this paper.
