Summary: | The research aimed to understand how the different types of motivation affected the performance of ROTC cadets who were tasked to execute a workout called crossfit. It was essential that this research was conducted due to the growing number of enthusiasts and athletes who have committed themselves to the sport and most especially for further advances in the exercise regimen given to ROTC cadets up until the armed forces of the Philippines. Intrinsic, extrinsic, mixed and amotivation were all measured in this study, as well as the physical and mental perceived performance of 100 (one hundred) ROTC cadets in De La Salle University-Manila. From the 100 (one hundred) ROTC cadets who took part on the research 13 (thirteen) were scheduled to participate in a semi-structured interview. The findings of the study showed that among the four types of motivation, only amotivation was not expressed in the perceived performance interview. The most expressed motivation would be intrinsic, and that motivation varying in different kinds did not have any effect on the performance of ROTC cadets in crossfit. In terms of Perceived performance majority of the respondents were satisfied with their results and that their mental perceived performance matched the type of motivation the cadets were categorized under. |
