Description
Summary:Mnemonic organizational strategies or memory enhancers support the hypothesis that it helps the students to have better information recall. Furthermore, it also allows the students to develop their understanding skills. A sample of 77 students from Colegio de Sta. Rosa - Makati served as the participants in the study. Through the use of experimental design the participants were divided into three groups (Control, Visual and Verbal). Through the use of Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA), the results indicate that there are significant differences in recall and understanding with the mnemonic condition and test schedule that was utilized. Moreover, the Scheffe test showed that there are significant differences in all pairs of mnemonic condition and pairs of test schedule but there are insignificant results in the interaction.
