The keys of Bartram (1939), Del Rosario (1979, 1980, 1986), defended theses of Diano and Eugenio (1993) and Ayson, Bhopal, and de Mata (1993) were used for the identification of the specimen collected. A total of 14 species were collected belonging to 9 genera, 8 families, 1 order, 1 class and 1 division. The following identified species were: Barbula javanica, Barbula obscuriretis, Bryum coronatum, Calyperes tenerum, Fissidens asplenoides, Fissidens braunii, Fissidens pulogensis, Fissidens xiphoides, Fissidens zollingeri, Hyophila rosea, Microdus leibergii, Orthomnium loheri, Splachnobryum luzonense, and Thamnium negrosense. Ecological factors such as temperature, light intensity and relative humidity were measured and the average values ranged from 27.92 degrees celcius - 29.68 degrees celcius, 368.06-1555.68 ft. candles, and 66.15 percent - 80.73 percent respectively. Mosses were found on rocks, cemented fences, tree trunks, stone walls, and other moist areas. 1995-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/8438 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Mosses--Anatomy Plants--Identification
