Trespeses, Miguel Gregorio M. The study aims to determine the relationship between the 6 predictors (competence, attitude towards patients, work attitudes, coping, length of work experience and age) and the nurses psychological well-being to understand the impact on caring for ill-patients. Survey questionnaires were distributed to 179 registered nurses. Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire, Nursing Clinical Competence Scale, Nurse Work Index-Revised and Subjective Happiness Scale were the instruments used in the study whereas the Attitude towards Patient Scale was created by the researchers. The results show that attitude towards patients (Ý=-0.16, p-level = 0.03) , work attitudes (Ý=-0.23, p-level = 0.01) and competence (Ý=0.26, p=level = 0.00) are the significant predictors to the psychological well-being of nurse. The researchers recommend the use of interviews for an in-depth analysis of the subject matter. 2009-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/8554 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Nurses--Attitudes Nurse and patient Interpersonal relations Nursing ethics
