This is a 25 minute video documentary using the V-8 format edited in U-matic format. The video documentary will show the importance of organization in the efforts of the urban poor in achieving true people empowerment. The proponents believe that through this study both government and the urban poor can come up with feasible and workables solutions for the upliftment of the urban poor's necessary needs. On the urban poor's side, they must unite and take the initiative in helping government find solutions for their pressing problems. The proponents believe that it is through organization, strong political will and the setting aside of ideological differences that it can be said that people empowerment may be achieved.
