Castillo, Jo Denise S. Duque, Karmine M. Well-being and empathy of volunteers' and non-volunteers' are compared using data obtained from 197 participants, 134 of which are volunteers, and 63 non-volunteers. Age and duration of volunteering were tested to determine if such variables could predict the level well-being and empathy a volunteer possesses. General Well-being Schedule and Davis' Empathy Scale were used. Results using T-test for independent samples indicated that volunteers have significantly higher well-being and empathy than non-volunteers. Multiple linear regression analysis on the other hand, did not show that age and duration of volunteering could predict the level of well-being and empathy of volunteers. 2006-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/8655 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Volunteers Empathy Voluntarism
