Description
Summary:Telephone has become a very useful and powerful instrument to man in the field of communications ever since it has been invented. As years go by, more and more improvements have been made. Examples of which are direct distance dialing, incoming call indicator, conference calls and even caller identification. Despite all these improvements, the problems with regards to eavesdropping was still unsolved. We can not deny the fact that people can still eavesdrop to other peoples conversation by tapping on the telephone line. The proposed Telephone Scrambler and Descrambler system can help solve the problem by keeping the confidentiality of private conversations. This planned project is an improvement of the half-duplex voice and data encryption made by the past electronics and communications engineering students of De La Salle University. Improvements and variations are made by interfacing the scrambler and descrambler circuit directly to the telephone lines without using a computer to serve as its interface.
