These systems provide people a means of safeguarding their valuable possessions against robberies. Common types of these systems uses fixed-positioned cameras located at vital points inside a room. This particular setup provides camera coverage for all parts of the room but is uneconomical because it requires multiple video cameras. This project focused on the design of a surveillance camera equipped with an auto-tracking feature. This modern advancement on technology has beefed up the capabilities of an ordinary intruder tracking system. The basic building blocks of the system includes the integration of a surveillance camera, a black and white monitor, a DC motor, infrared sensors, relays, limit switches, and buzzers.
