Summary:This study is to understand the real self and the virtual self in the context of the looking glass self, personality and the role based self. A total 18 Participants were gathered from Gaia Online, the participants were selected through the use of convenience sampling. Through the means of the internet and the 16pF and the provisions for social relations tests to gather data, the researchers were able to find congruencies and incongruencies which were related to the projection of the individual's actual and virtual self.
