Description
Summary:Interviewing 67 single Filipino males who at least experienced a paired relationship, ages ranging from 18 to 29, in the college level or working and residing in Metro Manila, this study describes the different kinds of relationships existing in our society today, the different behaviors they have manifested before and within each of the relationship they have mentioned, and the characteristics of women (who became their partners in their relationships) which have attracted the men. All information given by the subjects are based on their experiences and not purely on their perceptions. Results show various kinds of paired relationships existing in our society. There is a common pattern of courtship and behavior within paired relationships among Filipino males. Attractive characteristics of women vary from subject to subject.
