Summary: | This paper conducted a study on the two (2) factors impact on microfinance institutions: credit policy and managerial competence. The impact mentioned on microfinance institutions (MFIs) concentrated specifically on its sustainability and loan recovery. It discusses the framework in relation to the relationships of the independent and dependent variables.
To support the study, the researchers looked into various literature that are relevant in determining the relationships between the two variables. The relevant literature gathered ranges from the history, until the various relationships of managerial competence to the dependent variables of the study.
The researchers gathered data through surveys that were answered by at least 2 representatives of the institution of those who are assigned to their microfinance activities. Another would be a request from the institution to give a copy of their financial statements, if not the researchers based it on second hand information.
For the researchers who conducted this study, they conducted various statistical tests. Namely, panel regression using the naïve model and descriptive analysis. Their analyses were based on the above-mentioned statistics. |
