Solar energy conversion system with automatic tracking

This paper will discuss the concept, design and operation of a prototype of a solar energy converter. The first chapter is a discussion of the problems of harnessing energy to satisfy the needs of man and a proposed solution to this problem and the intended course of action. The second and third cha...

The first chapter is a discussion of the problems of harnessing energy to satisfy the needs of man and a proposed solution to this problem and the intended course of action. The second and third chapters will give information related to the theories behind the prototype itself. The fourth and fifth chapters present some possible answers to the problems being tackled. The solar energy converter is still at the stage of evolution and development, as it is still far from being perfected. The conventional sources of energy, oil, coal, gas, water and underground heat, have done their job well in the past. Now they are starting to dwindle in availability, as they are threatened into becoming exhausted from the earth. The promise of solar energy is everlasting availability to man, and he must acknowledge this if he wishes not to be left in the dark. 1993-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/8937 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Solar energy Automatic tracking Direct energy conversion Energy transfer Power electronics x3 Energy conversion, Direct Engineering
