Yangkong, Emmanuel W. Since safety and convenience are important in any situation, the group has resolved to apply the power of electronics to achieve this particularly in vehicles. The group came up with the idea of giving the individual driver a device that would make him aware of his vehicle's position with respect to possible accidents and damage to either life or property. Ultrasonic sensors are placed selectively the back bumpers of a vehicle. Analog and digital indicators would interpret whatever was sensed by the ultrasonic sensors. The sensors used would emit inaudible frequencies. The sound is transmitted and received given that it bounce back. A counter will simultaneously count up until inhibited by the received signal. This counter is calibrated according to metric measurements. If no sound is received, the counter will stop counting at its maximum range. 1994-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/8944 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Sonar Ultrasonic equipment Signal processing-- Digital techniques Electronics circuits Automobiles--Electronic equipment Engineering
