Description
Summary:Going Beyond Technical Training is a marketing video made by the proponents for the Meralco Foundation Institute. Through this video, the proponents aim to sell the three major training programs of the Institute namely: the Industrial Technician Program (ITP), the Technical Testing and Training Program (TTTP) and the Increase Your Training Efficiency in the Worksite Program (ITE). General information about what the training programs are all about are shown through footages of students and participants, the actual training process, as well as, interviews and testimonials from the Institute's clients. The marketing video will be presented to the HRD personnel of the various manufacturing firms in the country in a symposium set during the summer and term break. It has a total running time of 12 minutes and 30 seconds. The project was completed in two terms under the supervision of Ms. Raquel Daigdigan of the Edtech Department of the Meralco Foundation Institute and Ms. Amelita Lopez. Data gathering took one month to complete. The script was written in one and a half months. Actual shooting took two months to complete. After submitting two rough cuts, editing for the fine cut took 10 days. The entire project was partially funded by the organization. This includes the editing fee, the cost of the Beta Cam, V-8 and VHS tapes used. The final output is in U-matic format.
