Gonzalez, Maria Janina M. Rivas, Gabrielle B. Teng, Keisha Danielle C. Engagement of adolescents in early sexual intercourse has been increasing over time and has been a topic of discussion among many individuals. Previous research shows that early sexual intercourse among adolescents has been influenced by factors like parental communication, religiosity, peer approval and whether or not the adolescent has had sex education. In this current study, the researchers combined the four factors to see if it has a significant effect in predicting the early sexual intercourse among adolescents, specifically Filipino students who are in grades 8-10. Logistical regression was used as the statistical tool for this study. Results revealed that peer approval, sex education and religiosity have a significant relationship with the outcome variable. 2016-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/9236 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Teenagers--Philippines Sexual intercourse Interpersonal communication Religiousness Sex instruction Psychology
