Young, Chimmy C. Breakthroughs in communications systems have revolutionized the ways people keep in touch with each other. Presently, various techniques of communicating are available to many people. Residential telephone services, cellular mobile communication, paging systems, digital communication systems such as facsimile machines and modems, and computer networking are some of the more common ones. And everybody knows that this is just the beginning of the booming of a high-potential industry. Unfortunately, some of these ways of communicating can be considered as scarce luxuries. Ordinary people cannot have complete access to such expensive privileges. In view of this, the researchers have designed a system, The Automatic Caller Switching System or the ACSS, that will widen the consumers' options with regard to the technique they wish to utilize in communicating. Such a system will allow people to be notified of incoming call made to their homes, and they can easily respond to them by calling up their home using the other available home line. The system will automatically switch the two telephone lines and the two callers can now talk to each other. Certainly, such a set-up can be beneficial to the caller and the owner of the house. It provides the power of reach in a considerably short time. It is in this light that the group undertook this thesis project. 1996-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/9243 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Telecommunication systems Telephone switching systems, Electronics Telephone, Automatic Digital electronics Digital telephone systems Integrated circuits Engineering
