Description
Summary:For years, scientists and field engineers have been measured data manually. One of these parameters is temperature. Sometimes the systems being monitored are isolated or even not possible for human presence. So if we could design a monitoring system that could easily measure a parameter such as temperature with a great practicability and faster response, it would be beneficial to both user and maintenance of the system. To cope with the demands of industries, we adopt to their standards by adding the concepts of radio communications because it is very time saving and economical. Simple data gathering is no longer applicable nowadays. It is evident that technology has advanced and found systematic ways and means of collecting important data. The Wireless Temperature Monitoring System (WTMS) is a system that gathers, stores, and transmits data to a computer through radio transmission medium. The WTMS measures temperature in order for the user to know the different variations in the system being considered. The system has two parts namely the remote site and the base site. The remote site is the one that measures the temperature of the desired system and then transmits it to the base which consists of a computer.
