This study intends to design Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC) modules for District V, Diocese of Imus towards social transformation. It employs qualitative-participatory research using Focus Group discussion for data gathering. It is a participatory kind of research because the researcher and the respondents are part of the entire process. The main sources of data were gathered from the selected respondents of District V of the Diocese of Imus (Vicariate of the Seven Archangels: Mendez, Alfonso, Indang, and General Aguinaldo and Vicariate of Our Lady of Candelaria: Silang, Tagaytay City and Amadeo) using the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis. The SWOT analysis determines if the information gathered from the survey questionnaires, interviews, Focus Group discussion, and limited participant-observation indicates something that assist the community in accomplishing its vision and in overcoming or minimizing its obstacles. The findings reveal the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the District V, Diocese of Imus. It has also found out the needs of the District, namely: 1. To build and maintain basic ecclesial communities and institute new organizations in the parish. 2. To be open minded in events such as the advent of the new technology and able to read and respond to the signs of the times. 3. To develop leadership skills among clergies and lay leaders. 4. To harness the active participation of the District especially the youth. 5. To promote deep concern to our environment, and 6. To come up with an income generating programs that will uplift the economic status of the people. The study has formulated the common vision of the District in building Basic Ecclesial Community vis-Ã -vis the vision of the Diocese of Imus. It has specified the Key Result Areas (KRA) and has designed modules regarding: (1). Sense of ommunity (2). Faith evelopment (3). Justice concern (4). Concern for the environment (5). Patriotic persons (6).
