It is replicated with pretest, posttest, and delayed posttest design. The six clients were referred to three treatment groups: (1) Rational Emotive Therapy (2) Future Planner (FP) (3) RET-FP combined. Each treatment group had two clients for therapy one client served as the control client for all.The instruments used to measure the change in anxiety and insecurity were Security-Insecurity Inventory (SI), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), the Idea Inventory (II), Client's Self-Evaluation Report (SER), and the Report of the Significant Person (RSP).The results indicated that the treatments were effective in reducing the anxiety and insecurity level of the clients. It was evident that the treatments were able to reduce the cognitive-affective symptoms of clients and their irrational beliefs. Among the three treatment methods, RET brought about greater reduction in insecurity and anxiety while FP was quicker in bringing about the reduction in insecurity and anxiety. The combined treatment of RET-FP brought about greater stability to the effects. The effects of the treatment were stable over a period of one month. 1996-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_doctoral/761 Dissertations English Animo Repository Rational emotive behavior therapy Unmarried mothers Anxiety Security (Psychology) Therapeutics Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
