Further, it brings out the parallelism between Constantino's political and social philosophy and Western philosophy.The study uses the descriptive, expository, and historical analysis. It analyzes the political and social philosophy of Constantino giving emphasis on his philosophy on nationalism, education, society and culture. It also seeks to establish its relationship with the Western philosophies of Plato, Rousseau, Sartre, Nietzche, Marcuse and Hegel.Conclusions drawn from the study were:1. Constantino's philosophy belongs to the category of critical philosophy for he delves into the problems of society and seeks to address these problems.2. Constantino's philosophy is the right key to the right path towards national goal and nationalist ideal.3. Constantino's philosophy reflects the objectives and aspirations of the Filipinos, hence his philosophy is traditional.4. The philosophy of Constantino is progressive because it focuses on a philosophical synthesis that opens the way to a national view.5. His philosophy can contribute to the development of a Filipino philosophy in its general sense.6.
