This study explores how leadership may be exercised managing the change related to the integration of technology in teaching and learning. The study demonstrates that school leaders must focus on developing certain leadership practices more than leadership mindsets or leadership traits to effectively lead the integration of technology in teaching and learning in its different stages and in the different levels. As described in the Model for exercising leadership, these practices require a systematic approach to integrate technology integration into teaching and learning. To optimize the use and integration of technology, administrators and teachers must shift to a more constructivist and learner-centred approach to teaching and learning. As a result of the exercise of such leadership practices and the use of a systematic approach, certain changes occur in teaching and learning. First, with regards to technology use, teachers strengthen their technology skills as well as improve their knowledge on how to make technology a learning tool. Second, teachers change their pedagogical practices towards a constructivist and learner-centred approach to optimize the use of technology. Third, students change the way they engage with content which resulted in more active and engaged learning. 2012-02-01T08:00:00Z text application/pdf https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_doctoral/1167 https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/context/etd_doctoral/article/2168/viewcontent/CDTG005093_P.pdf Dissertations English Animo Repository Leadership Technology Educational Leadership
