This research was conducted to determine the percent reduction of CO2 that would result from the recycling of the biogas produced from anaerobic digestion of coconut water. Twelve experiments were performed, each of which utilizes a batch-type system with agitation. The PH was fixed at value of 6.8 and 7.2, and the inoculum size at 0.35% and 0.7% wt./vol. The inoculum used was obtained from NIST. All experiments were carried out at ambient temperature and a retention period of five days. Included in the chemical analyses were Orsat Gas Analysis, Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD), Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Volatile Suspended Solids (VSS) and pH. The result of the study shows that recycling the biogas produced from anaerobic digestion increases the relative amount of CH4 in the gas. The optimum condition for the biomethanation of coconut water is found to be at pH 6.8 with an inoculum size 0.7% wt./vol.
