Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems are material handling robots used to store and retrieve materials and track inventory. The AS/RSs are usually located at warehouses to store incoming inventory and distribute them to the manufacturing floor when needed. The mini AS/RS is composed of two vertical shelves, a transporter crane and computer control.
