The environmental factors that are affecting the corporation's activities were closely examined. An analysis on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the current system was employed. And based on the analysis, the strategies adapted by the company were determined. After completing this task, the strategies determined were subjected to evaluation and recommendation. The study is aimed to achieve the following set of objectives: (1) to determine a suitable strategic framework to assess the company's strategies (2) to assess the strategies based on current conditions and (3) to assess based on projections and likely economic/market developments. The Bridge's Pentagram describing a sociotechnical system was the framework used to assess the company's strategies. The sociotechnical design aids organizations in achieving excellence by developing human resources to utilize social and technical resources effectively, cultivate employee commitment and energy, maximize cooperative efforts, encourage innovation and remain alert to changes in the external environment. Based on economic/market developments, the essential ingredients required for landlords to remain competitive are clearly: (1) creation of a competitive advantage for the tenant (2) establishment of a strategic partnership with key tenants and (3) communication. APMC should venture to IT infrastructure to create a competitive advantage. In addition, the following strategies should also be implemented: (1) seek for more non-ALI properties to be managed (2) Utilize limited employees' capabilities (3) extend quality training programs (4) provide employment agencies with basic requirements for contractual workers (5) set benchmarks on quality of services (6) quality assurance accreditation to ANZ/ISO 9002 (7) a Property Asset management IT system (PAMS) giving detailed clear drill down reporting with the facility of being on-line in clients' offices and (8) full engineering support to maintain building services and project manage upgrades. 1999-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/3900 Master's Theses English Animo Repository Ayala Property Management Corp. |
