Description
Summary:The Catholic School Systems Development Approach or CS-SD is a system approach to a task wherein all areas of operations are considered in the context of the whole, and its parts interacting with the other parts, thereby making integration and coordination feasible. Because the CS-SD approach of upgrading and improving the school's operation works on a principle that you cannot give what you do not have, it insists that the personnel using this program of approach strive for personal holiness, the key to the success of the program. The proposed program on teacher formation using the CS-SD approach was premised on the belief that the total development of the faculty is an effective instrument in insuring the effectivity of the education apostolate. Our Lady of Grace Academy, one of the 65 schools run by the Congregation of the Religious of the Virgin Mary, supports this belief, thus adopting the CS-SD approach by the writer, which hopefully will be implemented starting school year 1977-1978. The program is limited to the High School and Grade School Departments with a total number of 45 teachers.
