Description
Summary:The Franciscan Missionaries of Mary (FMM) is an international women religious missionary congregation under the jurisdiction of the Congregation for the Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life. It is dedicated to universal mission through contemplation and apostolate. The FMM Philippines is a province within this congregation whose dispersed location forces it to confront several challenges like activities before, during and after holding of a Chapter, organizing various working committees, and implementing the Provinces life plan and involving the participation of all the sisters in these processes. One of the key factors that measures the performance of the congregation is a provincial chapter, the organ that expresses the collegiality of the province. The provincial chapter has decision making power and it sets the direction that the province will take for a specified period in terms of the Province's vision and mission. It reflects the universal fraternity of the Institute and bears the responsibility of protecting its Charism. The study proposes the development of a model that will help the FMM sisters utilize information and communication technology in the formulation of knowledge management practices in the organization. The researcher uses a Soft System Methodology (SSM) research with descriptive-qualitative methods for data gathering.
