The homeroom teacher of the first year boys and two teachers came to the office of Sister Elena, President, Principal and Superior of the Holy Rosary High School, to complain about not being able to stand anymore the unruly behavior of a group of boys after been given five months of patience and understanding. Sister Elena wondered how she would present the incident in the next School Board meeting. She thought on what disciplinary action to impose on the case. Should she recommend suspension for the boys? This would demand explanations to the parents and putting the homeroom teacher on the spot. The events may be enough evidence not to renew the contracts of the teachers, who were in their probationary periods. To renew the contract of the teachers and then be helped in improving their efficiency and discipline in class management would mean taking them as permanent teachers. Would the School Board be willing to take the risk? Perhaps the homeroom teacher could be advised to continue his studies so he would be better qualified to teach. 1980-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/4166 Master's Theses English Animo Repository School discipline--Case studies
