| Summary: | The owner and director of the school, Mr. Rakdee noticed that the climate in his school has somewhat improved since the coming of his friend, Mr. Penpak, who has worked with him for almost three years as an assistant director. Lately, however, a problem which threatened to destroy the confidence of Mr. Rakdee on Mr. Penpak came up. Towards the end of the second semester of school year, the director noticed that there was a teacher who was frequently absent from his class and the students have complained to the principal. This man still continued to act the same way far about two or three weeks despite the principal himself have talked to him. Then the director went to the office of the assistant director to discuss the matter. But the assistant director requested that the man be given another chance. The director felt that the assistant director was never convinced by his decisions. This case shows the conflict between the director, Mr. Rakdee and his assistant Mr. Penpak who cannot work harmoniously due to difference in personality and educational background. On the latter part of the paper, alternative actions were recommended by the writer in solution to the problem. |
