Summary: | This case is study on relationship between administration and their superiors, relationship between the school and the public. The problem lies on the administrators and faculty of Highland Academy who were caught in a dilemma. They were pressed to change their decision by the superintendent, in favor of three boys who were asked to transfer at almost the end of the year. The three boys were found guilty of drunkenness and also for causing public disturbance during the schools foundation day celebration. The immediate problem is : will the Sister Directress stand on the faculty decision or give in to the superintendent? In solution to the problem in this case, alternative actions were given on the latter part of the paper. |
