Poveda Learning Centre is a learning institution that offers basic and secondary education. The pedagogical approach it offers is based on the personalized education principles. It has been in existence for the last 44 years. Now, it is faced with the following strategic issues: Accommodate the increasing number of applicants who wish to be enrolled in the school Sourcing for qualified teacher applicants Address the challenge brought about by the advancement in information communications technology in the teaching-learning process Address the issue of teacher turnover especially those seeking employment abroad. The strategic and financial objectives are: To price its services affordably that is, set the tuition fee equivalent to industry average from the range of P40,000 to P70,000.00 To reach the 10%-15% savings rate from operations each year in the next five years To have a net income percentage based on gross revenue of 10%-15% To cope with existing demand by expanding its available facilities To establish a competitive compensation package To design and implement a continuously updated faculty development program. The proposed overall strategy is to expand its facilities and cope with the increasing number of enrollment and maintain the quality of education it offers. It is supported by the following strategies: iii Provision of additional facilities to accommodate additional sections to be opened Offer a tertiary program focused on education Better compensation package that is competitive enough based on industry survey Information Communications Technology Integration in the teaching learning process Faculty Development Program focused on equipping the teachers with the Personalized Education principles and to prepare second liners by developing their supervisory skills Establish network or linkage with colleges and universities to source for teacher applicants. 2004-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/4317 Master's Theses English Animo Repository Strategic planning Poveda Learning Centre |
