St. Therese High School for Girls is the only Catholic school for girls in the town of Kansas, North Cotabato. The lack of peace and order in North Cotabato starting 1972 which caused the migration of a good number of families to other places the increase of tuition fees of STHSG the presence of public high schools which charges lower tuition rates resulted to a great steady decline in the enrollment of STHSG. In addition to this, the migration of a good number of experienced teachers of STHSG affected the standard of the school. Its reputation of being a high standard school had greatly declined. This is worsened by the discovery of the real status of the school, its lack of permit or recognition from the government, which created a great financial problem for the school. The standardization of teachers salaries the compulsory giving of monthly allowance the DEC vehement suggestions to complete the library and the laboratory facilities, the disapproval of the applications for recognition and increase in tuition and other fees have further aggravated the financial problems of the school. This case study aims to present to the students a certain condition of a school which demands tact and dexterity in managerial skills in order to make the school survive. The latter part of the paper shows alternative actions in solution to the problems posed in this study. 1978-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/4319 Master's Theses English Animo Repository |
