Throughout its history, the school is noted for the high quality of its graduates. Today, it continues to grow institutionally. After recognizing the different facets of growing in the field of education, Poveda Learning Centre formulated the following strategic objectives: Financial Objectives: To tap additional sources of income and charge an affordable tuition fee that is equivalent to industry ranging from P50, 000 to P60,000 per year To maintain the 10%-15% savings rate from operations each year in the next five years Strategic Objectives: To expand its facilities from the available space that it has the purpose of coping with the existing demand for quality education To design and implement a faculty development program with focus on the Personalized Education Principles and to train middle managers with necessary supervisor skills To establish a link with colleges and universities to source for personnel requirements skills To offer a tertiary education program with concentration in education to get quality graduates who are trained in the personalized education approach who could teach in Poveda. The recent developments in the macro environment has also allowed Poveda Learning Centre to build-up on its strengths and pursue its developments given the various opportunities in the industry. Hence, the following are suggested to be part of its long-term goals and projections: 1.Physical plant additional building to house administrative offices, laboratories (science and information technology) in order to expand classroom capacity at least by additional one (1) section per level. 2.Technology integration gradual integration in all subject matters from the present two pilot subjects, science & mathematics. Target integration with at least two subjects per school year. -automate office functions that are still using manual procedures such as the registrars office and the library. 3.Human Resource Management- Development succession system through home grown management. 4.Open tertiary education with attractive courses that are according to recent industry and global trends such as education and management. Education can be the primary course offering since basic education can already be the laboratory school for the college and this is the competence of the school. Management courses are attractive in the market since these are needed in the business (products and services), corporate and even small scale enterprises. 2004-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/4453 Master's Theses English Animo Repository |
