Summary:Business succession from generation to generation requires collaboration among the predecessors and would-be successors. This study chronicled the events that shaped the career of a third generation member of the Tapia Family through ORJI. A marked progression in task and personal learning was achieved to qualify one of the would-be successors to the companys leadership positions. Interventions such as meetings and one on one discussion with the second generation together with a collaborative discussion with the third generation on how we will improve our career path and in addition, active participation in building client relationship by the third generation representing the company in formal business meetings and functions, lastly, by personal identity development so that us third generation would gain respect amongst colleges, this interventions were made to ensure the quality and progress of the succession experience.
