Currently, this issue has been solving in transferring ownership from joint venture between Thailand and Philippines to 100% Thai owned company. Collaboration with local and Thai shareholders through formal meetings, brain storming, email correspondences, and report documents were done in all four steps of action research cycle namely constructing, planning action, taking action and evaluating action. After this, the other cycle has been raised up regarding the control of MCI to be given to the Thai who is more experienced with the business can improve company performance. The team later agreed that the root cause of our issue is conflict in business direction and unsuccessful marketing plan. Through the collaborative efforts, a decision was made to give all control to Thai. A newly designed marketing strategy was made in order to gain the cooperation of the dealers in providing sufficient support and increased brand awareness of the products. At the same time, MCI can increase their market share by adding more units nationwide in the Philippines. In doing so, it was sought to build collaborative relationship with the dealers to achieve a common goal of good financial performance.
