The participants are 189 Asian international students who are studying in different universities across Metro Manila, Philippines. Four instruments were administered: Satisfaction with Life Scale (1985), Interdependent Happiness Scale (2014), Perceived Ethnic Discrimination Questionnaire (2005) and Academic Achievement Motivation Scale (2002). The data is analyzed using multiple regression analysis method. Both of the moderator variables do not show moderation effect. Both subjective well-being and interdependent happiness do not moderate the relationship between ethnic discrimination and academic achievement motivation. The inconsistent relationship between the variables seems to be the most possible reason for the insignificant finding. Recommendations for future researchers were presented. 2015-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/5105 Master's Theses English Animo Repository Happiness Race discrimination Academic achievement Counseling
