Description
Summary:It is substantial to deliver timely information in this aggressive and agonistic world. Accurate and timely information is what corporate executives, business owners, and consumers are in need of to make appropriate decisions and best position their organization to mitigate the impact from the loss or crisis. This action research project aimed to help the Contract Administration (CA) team of StarrSS-BPO Manila in eliminating the delay of responding to the contract status inquiries from the Sourcing Managers, Vendors, Requestors, and End Users; and it was achieved. Several collaborations and various brainstorming were done with the Contract Administration Team on identifying the focal issue, design and implementation of the created monitoring tool during coffee breaks, bi-monthly meetings and informal quick huddles. Inquiries and reflections were properly documented by taking down notes, maintaining a pool of solicited comments and suggestions, and archiving emails. This project had benefited both the researcher and the Contract Administration team as it would not only eliminated the delay in answering the email and call inquiries but also in effect provide the team a process template to be used for the on-boarding contract administrators in the team.
