It also address to the issue of poverty in the country. The researcher saw a need to understand the predictors of entrepreneurial intention to enhance and nourish potential student entrepreneurs with the skills needed in their entrepreneurial venture at an early age. Most recent studies on the entrepreneurial intention focuses on the personal factors that influence the students decision to establish their own ventures leaving the contextual factors behind. This study uses a model, the entrepreneurial support model, to study the entrepreneurial intentions of the grade 10 junior high school students in the business cluster program of Aquinas School in San Juan City, Philippines focusing on the external factors that may have affected their intention to start a business venture. The qualitative data from 10 students show that their entrepreneurial intention was shaped by the educational and relational support factors. Structural support, the influence of the government and other private agencies in helping citizens establish their own business, was found to be non-significant. The findings from this study will raise awareness of the factors affecting the entrepreneurial intention of the students, so schools can formulate teaching strategies and classroom activities to create a positive attitude on entrepreneurship and produce successful entrepreneurs. It can also be used by the government and private agencies supporting entrepreneurship as their source for their decision making and implementation of their entrepreneurial activities. 2017-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/5304 Master's Theses English Animo Repository Entrepreneurship--Philippines Entrepreneurship--Philippines--Case studies
