Summary:This action research paper describes how our business groups operational issue concerning the low quality of documentations used during the process rotation transitions or trainings which manifested through concerns regarding quality. Documentation is described as any records written, electronic or automated that provide information describing, defining, and specifying. The objectives of this research was able to create and implement quality improvements with the current documentations used during the process rotation transition. Kurt Lewins Change management model was used to structure and manage change within the business group. Through a collaborative action research, the cause of quality issue during the process rotations were identified and actions were taken to prevent possible quality issues that may arise or repeat. The results of this research revealed the importance of documentation not just as a source for back-up or historical records but also as a tool for quality management. This research recommends the awareness of the importance of documentation through the continuous use of data and knowledge management to the company, to its employees, and to other companies, regardless of its industry.
