The study includes the leadership competencies of these women principals, the challenges they have faced and still facing at the present, and their significant contributions to school and community. The researcher interviewed four participants who are women principals in the Division of Maguidanao. Their insights, reflections and experiences were documented. A descriptive explanatory multiple case study in a purely qualitative research design was used. The findings of the study revealed that leadership competencies are important to be effective and successful leaders. The findings also found that the women face a lot of challenges in school and community. Nevertheless, they still have significant contributions for the development of the school and advancement of society. Overall, these women principals in conflict affected areas in Maguindanao can be considered as servant-leaders. Their primary purpose is to lead and serve the school and community where they belong.
