Growth of business organizations today is greatly influenced by how they manage and adapt to change. This means that today, successful business is based on the management capacity to oversee and adapt to fast forward change. This change intends to create value in the organization. One of the rapid development happening in the industry and having a major breakthrough is the use of technology and the possibilities it can offer, enterprises have to maximize these new technological tools available, in order not only to adapt to this emerging environment, but also to gain from it and expand operations in parallel with minimizing costs and getting more effective and efficient process. This action research looked for the possibilities to maximize the use of modern technology through innovation to minimize the risk and cost the company is incurring through unproductive and non-value adding activities. Because of numerous and various activities an individual is performing in organization, there are cases in which we have to look for an opportunity to make everything efficient. Work must be highly accessible and the system being used should be flexible. This research was applied to an automotive parts manufacturing company which seeks to develop and enhance its business processes specifically in asset management with focus on asset disposal through system automation. I used the action research approach throughout the process. With the concept of triangulation, I was able to collect and validate data. And through collective efforts of the team members and the rest of the collaborators, we act as one to achieve the common goal. In order to do all things possible, Lewins Change model was also employed starting with the identification of what needs change in the organization and welcoming the new one and making a new habit and practice in our work environment. We tried to create a tool that would mitigate long business processes through the use of modern technology, putting the system in a place where it can be conveniently access and saves time and effort in transporting documents from one place to another. Rational Unified Process (RUP) framework combined with Rapid Application Development (RAD) framework served as a guide in creating and refining the tool we made to have successful solution. 2017-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/5752 Master's Theses English Animo Repository Automobile supplies industry Organizational change
