The development of said modules followed the model by Belanger and Jordan (2000). This model provided the detailed steps that guided the researcher through each phase. There were five phases, namely, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. In the Analysis phase, information on expected Geometry teachers’ needs, difficulties, prior technological knowledge and current competencies were gathered to clarify the appropriate content and methodology of the program. The result became the basis for formulating the objectives for each module of the program. The Design phase included the generation of ideas, formulation of the objectives for each module, collection of resource materials while the Development phase involved flowcharting, storyboarding, programming and validating by experts. The support materials and training Geometry teachers to use the full production were then deployed in the implementation phase. In the Evaluation phase, the participant Geometry teachers and the experts assessed the completed Geometry multimedia program and gave their recommendations. The researcher revised the program and analyzed the usability of the program based on all the feedback and recommendations. The interactive Geometry multimedia program entitled Triangle Exploration was developed in this study. The program makes particular use of the Constructivist strategies such as Real-Life Problem or Application, Scaffolding Instruction, Inquiry Based Learning, Reflection and Discussion and Discovery Learning. The program would be a helpful instructional material for Geometry teachers and could guide them to improve teaching-learning environment with technology. 2006-08-01T07:00:00Z text application/pdf https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/7005 Master's Theses English Animo Repository Geometry--Study and teaching Mathematics--Study and teaching Teaching—Aids and devices Educational technology Educational Technology
