Description
Summary:The complicated problems in the world today must be faced with an open mind, by making our religious instruction a way of life rather than the imposition of so many rules and regulations. Teachers themselves could be a witness to the Good News by living an exemplary life so that her very life would be the gospel. One should be an enthusiastic religious teacher who is trying to be competent, by realizing that we are only witness. It is desire of the writer to treat the ten commandments individually, but with greater emphasis on the precepts of justice, morality end above all reverence for the true God. At the same time the writer is gearing the plan to the study of Salvation History which covers the Incarnation, Passion and death and the Resurrection. However, the heart of the commandments lessons revolve around the love of neighbor for the sake of God, which is no other than Charity. There is a belief that the ten commandments were used as disciplinary measures in the past, therefore a changed course of action should be undertaken in order that the law of love would be a means of bringing back the fallen brethren to the fold.
