Description
Summary:The purpose of this paper is to make an initial inquiry into the concurrent and predictive validity of scholarship tests given at La Salle College Bacolod from 1962 to 1967. The results of these tests will be correlated with the first and second semester grades of the scholars for each year. the criterion of success will be the scholastic achievement of the students who received scholarships, since in practice, academic grades show the success of students. However, this criterion has a disadvantage in that the teachers' grades may not be accurate. The results of the study should help us in determining the best test or tests for our scholarship exam. It is important to know the best test or tests in order to give each student the scholarship he deserves, as well as to be able to predict success in college.
