In this action research, we aimed to address the lack of work-life balance in the Proof and Transit Division III of Central Clearing Department. We aimed to achieve the right balance with our professional and personal lives. The manifestations of the presented issue were the lack of time management, work stress, and lack of life after work. Our objectives in this action research were to set a strict work schedule, to enhance the individual’s time management skills, and to improve our lives outside work. Likewise, our primary goal was to be more efficient as an employee so we could be more effective and productive as a group/division. Guided with the IAR tools, we were able to collect data using the first and second person inquiry. We had several informal meetings to collaboratively discuss what we needed to do. We used the Spillover Theory and Border Theory to help us achieve our desired results. We also used the Lewin’s Change Management Model to implement the changes that we wanted to apply in our division. In order to achieve work-life balance in our group, we also decided to separate our professional and personal issues. The first cycle was executed to properly address the issues that happened in our workplace and process. The second cycle was conducted to finally give importance to our personal lives outside work. The activities that we planned and executed proved to be effective for the group as we confirmed in our evaluation about the positive spillovers that we got all throughout this action research. 2020-12-18T08:00:00Z text application/pdf https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/6167 https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/context/etd_masteral/article/13236/viewcontent/Posedio__Augielyn__11691174__Promoting_Work_Life_Balance_in_the_Proof_and_Transit_Division_III_of_CCD_Redacted.pdf Master's Theses English Animo Repository Work-life balance Human Resources Management |
