Description
Summary:Quantitative analysis is required in business decisions such as investment and portfolio management, business volume and cost forecasting, financial analysis, or in informal analyses where one simply seeks to determine any relationship such as dependences among variables. While statistical programs are available, these normally involve complex functions and selections that can intimidate users who do not have formal statistical or math backgrounds but work in the field of Finance. Further, while some of these functions are readily available in MS Excel, they are not strategically placed together to give easy access to the user, as Excel is for a wide array of users instead of a specific type of user in mind. The Project aims to give users (e.g. students, practitioners) an intuitive and simple tool that can aid in business decisions in the aforementioned fields (among others that are possible) by providing the most commonly used functions in these fields and providing easy to read results to facilitate interpretation.
